1. Say something meaningful
Writing something that sounds smart, but doesn’t mean anything is as stupid as writing it. To make your writing better, make every word count.

2. Go into detail and be specific
Being specific is not a bad thing. By going into detail when you portray something helps the reader to imagine it better. Some writers might leave some things more open for different reasons, but most of the time you want to be as specific as possible when writing about things.
